Chaired by Mr. Mburu Ngugi, the meeting aimed to address key agenda items, including adopting the Hon Treasurer’s report for the financial accounts of 2022, appointing auditors for 2023, and adopting the new KLDA Constitution
Opening Remarks: During the meeting, Mr. Samora Sikalieh, the KLDA Chairman, briefed attendees on the audited accounts for FY 2022, highlighting reduced expenditures compared to previous years. Concerns were raised about depreciating costs and the effectiveness of auditors, prompting resolutions for transparency measures. The adoption of the audited accounts was proposed and seconded, receiving majority approval.
