KLDA held a meeting with Langata Member of Parliament, Phelix Odiwuor (Jalango), on November 8, 2023.
During this meeting, both parties exchanged information regarding the activities carried out by his office in the Karen Ward and the advocacy efforts of KLDA on behalf of Karen residents.
It was agreed that aligning the efforts of both parties would enhance service delivery for the benefit of Karen residents.
The agenda of the meeting covered topics such as urban planning, water supply, security, and the rehabilitation of the Karen Roundabout. These discussions aimed to address key issues and ensure the well-being and development of the Karen community.
