The 81st Annual general meeting was held on March 17th 2021 at the Tamambo, Karen Blixen Coffee Garden.
The KLDA annual AGMs are normally held in March of every year, where an election is held and committee members are elected, the new team of officials assume office. Officials are elected by present KLDA members at the AGM.The purpose of holding elections regularly, gives members a chance to evaluate the officials meaning they can only be re-elected if they have proved that they can deliver and manage the affairs of the association, in the interest of the members. It also gives other members a chance to be elected who may have skills/expertise and new ideas that could be relevant for the association to adopt new ways of doing things.
