Notice issued on the commencement of the review of the Karen Local Physical Development Plan. (LPDP)
The LPDP is what guides development in the Karen area and has been in existence since 2006. The KLDA committee has since been supported by Nairobi City County Government and consultants to ensure the Physical Plan is reviewed which will guide development in Karen for the next 10 years.
The duration of the review which will include stakeholder engagements, questionnaires, mapping, surveys etc will take 4-6 months.
Karen residents and stakeholders are requested to actively participate in the review of the Local Physical Development Plan of Karen when called upon and attend public participation meetings from time to time so as to be part and parcel of modeling the development of Karen Ward for the next 10 years and beyond.
