On September 22, 2023, KLDA participated in a meeting hosted by the Office of the County Chief Officer for Urban Development and Planning Department .
The primary agenda of the meeting was to establish a structured framework for the preparation of the Karen Local Physical and Land Use Development Plan (LPLUDP). This plan is intended to serve as a blueprint for development activities, with a particular emphasis on preserving Karen as a residential area characterized by low population density.
