KLDA was declared the runner-up under the Ujenzi and Maji categories in the KARA Annual Resident Associations Excellence Awards 2023.
Maji Award appreciated that KLDA was undertaking a water and sanitation survey to assess the existing situation and propose strategies on how to ensure every resident has access to equitable water supply for Nairobi Water and Sewerage company.
Ujenzi Award recognized the efforts made in fighting illegal developments and maintaining the low-density residential character of Karen.
